K-State Finalizes WBB Broadcast Schedule for 50th Season

MANHATTAN, Kansas – For the seventh consecutive season, all K-State home women's basketball games will be televised by K-State's broadcast partners of ESPN3, Cox Channel Kansas or K-StateHD.TV. In combination with the four selections by the Big 12 Conference television partners, Kansas State will have 25 games broadcast this season on television and digital platforms.
K-State will play seven games this season exclusively on ESPN3, produced by K-StateHD.TV. The seven games are: Wednesday, Dec. 6, against UT Arlington at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, against Little Rock at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 18, against Chicago State at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 21, against Northern Iowa at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 17, against Oklahoma at 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, against Iowa State at 7 p.m., and Tuesday, Feb. 20, against West Virginia at 7 p.m.
ESPN3 is available in more than 99 million homes via the popular Watch ESPN App, ESPN.com, and over-the-top streaming devices such as Chromecast, Apple TV, Xbox, PS Vue and Roku.
The Wildcats will also play five games on Cox Channel Kansas and produced by K-StateHD.TV. The games are: the exhibition game against Fort Hays State on Monday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., against Omaha on Monday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., the Big 12 season-opener against Baylor on Thursday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m., against TCU on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m., and Wednesday, Feb. 7 against Texas Tech at 7 p.m. The games will also be streamed on K-StateHD.TV for free.

The three matchups on K-StateHD.TV begins with the exhibition opener against Emporia State on Friday, Nov. 3 at 5:30 p.m., followed by the 50th season-opener in program history on Friday, Nov. 10, against Stephen F. Austin at 5:30 p.m. The final game exclusively on K-StateHD.TV will be on Friday, Nov. 17 against Florida A&M at 5:30 p.m.
K-StateHD.TV is a high-definition digital network providing K-State a world-wide connection for athletic and academic endeavors. Now a free service, viewers get over 1,000 Wildcat videos a year, including around 25 live events. Other features include pregame shows, weekly and postgame press conferences, and commercial free on-demand viewing of every football game and all home men's basketball, women's basketball, women's soccer, volleyball, and baseball games (within 72 hours of event).

The first two FOX Sports Southwest games will be on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Baylor at 6 p.m., and on Saturday, Feb. 17, at TCU at 2 p.m. The FOX Sports Southwest Plus broadcast will be at Texas Tech on Monday, Feb. 26, at 6:30 p.m. The lone game on FOX Sports Oklahoma will be on Wednesday, January 31, at Oklahoma at 10:30 a.m.
K-State's game at Iowa State on Wednesday, January 10, will be broadcast on Cyclones.TV at 6:30 p.m., and the Wildcats' game at Texas on Saturday, Feb. 10, will be aired by the Longhorn Network at 7 p.m.
Kansas State previously announced that four games were selected by the Big 12 television partners. For the 2017-18 season, K-State returns six letter winners from the 2016-17 squad that reached the second round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament and secured 23 wins. Overall, K-State returns 72 percent of its assists, 56 percent of its rebounding and 52 percent of its scoring.
In addition to the returning letter winners, Kansas State welcomes in six newcomers for the 2017-18 season including: freshmen guards Cymone Goodrich (Chicago, Illinois), Rachel Ranke (Burnsville, Minnesota) and Alisa Wiggins (Montclair, New Jersey) and posts Mary Lakes (Peoria, Illinois) and Ashley Ray (Girard, Kansas). The Wildcats also added junior forward Kali Jones (Murrieta, California) and junior center Anastasia Tsybaeva (Burbank, California).
