K-State Rowing Adds Four Women to CSC Academic All-District Team

These are the first academic honors earned under first year head coach Kennedy Felice
MANHATTAN, Kan. – The K-State women's rowing team had four athletes—Grace Hall, Lorelei Harris, Leah Roane and Izzy Ross—named to the CSC Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team as announced by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday (June 16).
These are the first academic accolades under the guidance of first year head coach Kennedy Felice, while 11 Wildcats have earned the honor in the last four years.
Hall, one of six seniors on the 2025-26 team, graduated with a 4.00 GPA while studying Kinesiology. The native of Flower Mound, Texas, competed in all six races this season, starting with the 1v8+ boat and finishing with the 1v4+. At the Big 12 Championship she earned a bronze medal with 1v4+, her second medal of her career. She helped defeat Creighton with the 1v4+ and in the 1v8+ boat during the Hornet Invitational they collected three runner-up finishes. Other accolades during Hall's career include being named to the All-Big 12 team in 2025 as well as being placed on the Academic All-Big 12 Team her first three seasons.
Harris, a junior from Spring Hill, Kan., is also studying Kinesiology with a 4.00 GPA. During the season she served as a team captain, splitting time in the 1v8+ and 2v8+ boats while competing in all six races. During the Hornet Invite with the 1v8+ boat they collected three runner-up finishes. Competed in the 3v8+ boat just once during the season at the conference championship, finishing in 5th place. Academically she was named to the All-Big 12 Team the last two seasons.
Roane, from Melissa, Texas, is studying Dietetics with a 4.00 GPA. A junior coxswain, she participated in all six races, primarily in the 2v8+ boat. At the Big 12 Championship her boat finished in 6th place. During the Hornet Invite, 2v8+ finished runner-up to UC San Diego. Roane was also named to the Academic All-Big 12 Team the last two years.
Ross, a junior studying Interior Architecture with a 4.00 GPA, is from St. Louis, Mo. She started the season with the 1v8+ boat before switching to the 1v4+. She earned her first conference medal, bronze, at the Big 12 Championship. With the 1v8+ boat at the Hornet Invite they collected three runner-up finishes, before helping defeat Creighton in the 1v4+. In 2024 and 2025, Ross was also named to the Academic All-Big 12 Team.
The Wildcats rowing team finished the season in 6th place at the Big 12 Championship. During the spring they earned three medals, gold for 3v8+ and silver medals for 1v4+ and 2v4+ at the SIRA Championship (April 18-19). Also had strong performances at the Hornet Invitational (March 14-15) and the Creighton Duel (April 30).
