ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL STRATEGY
Position Description:Â K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Director of Social Media & Digital Strategy, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position.
Duties:
- Responsible for day-to-day content management of assigned social media accounts; includes planning, scheduling and executing creative assets
- Creatively engage fans on social media before, during and after sporting events to build audience.
- Provide live game coverage for K-State Athletics sporting events on social media.

DEVELOPMENT POST GRADUATE INTERN
Position Description:Â K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Development Post Graduate Intern, which is a temporary, full-time, benefits-eligible position for up to 24 months.
Duties:

ASSISTANT ATHLETICS DIRECTOR - TICKETING: SALES, SERVICE & STRATEGY

Duties:
- Leads both the 'ticket sales & services office' and the 'ticket sales & strategies office' with a total of two directors, one assistant director, one account executive, one post-graduate intern, and multiple student and part-time staff.
- Responsible for all ticketing efforts for K-State Athletics' six ticketed sports and is the direct point of contact for football and men's basketball.

DEVELOPMENT HOSPITALITY POST GRADUATE INTERN

Duties:
- Assist in managing preparation of all premium spaces for football season. Prepare and manage east club and suites for football gamedays. Assist in managing preparation of premium spaces for men’s and women’s basketball. Coordinate printing of season and gameday menus for football, basketball and baseball season.

GAME PRESENTATION & PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT
Position Description: K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an GAME PRESENTATION & PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT. This is a two-year Assistant position in our external unit of ticket sales & service, marketing, licensing, and game presentation & promotions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of promotions and game entertainment at assigned K-State Athletics events with an emphasis on increasing revenue, growing attendance, and maximizing K-State’s home game atmosphere. The Assistant will have direct oversight over the development, coordination, and implementation of promotions plans as assigned.
Duties:
- Assume responsibility for all in-game entertainment as assigned with an emphasis on engaging the K-State Family and maximizing the home game atmosphere. Develop, coordinate and implement the production run of show timelines and public-address scripts, ensuring sponsorship obligations are met. Serve as main show caller for as assigned, ensuring run of shows are fun and engaging.
- Develop, coordinate and implement comprehensive promotions plans focused on growing revenue and increasing attendance. Develop and execute theme nights to attract selected target markets and grow the K-State fanbase. Research industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to remain at the cutting edge of promotions and new product developments.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement promotions plans for the Junior Wildcats Club. Assume responsibility for all Club events and promotions associated with assigned events, such as pregame activations at various sports, theme days, and Willie's Fun Zone at Football. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase Club memberships and promote a positive experience for future Wildcats.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to maintain high levels of essential student involvement and increase student attendance at K-State home events. Assist the Director of Game Presentation & Promotions in managing and supervising the student intern program to create a positive work environment focused on maximizing K-State's home game environment.
- Serve as the unit's main liaison as assigned, establishing a positive working essential relationship with the Director of Operations, Lead department-wide meetings with multiple units, including operations, communictions, creative services, and video services with a focus on project management and meeting deadlines.
Minimum Requirements:

EVENT OPERATIONS POST GRADUATE INTERN
Position Description:Â K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Event Operations Post Graduate Intern, which is a temporary, full-time, benefits-eligible position for up to 24 months.
Duties:
- Staffing and supervision of event staff team members and student workers, assisting visiting teams and officials, assist in the setup, breakdown and game operations for all home contests and some facility rentals, compliance with NCAA, Big 12 and ADA policies and procedures, communication with various units within the department as well as external groups and general office duties. Ensures excellent customer service. Specific sport responsibilities will be assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Event Operations.

- Assist with mentoring and provision of academic support services to student-athletes designated as having educational impacting disorders and/or specific, specialized academic needs; assist with advising, evaluating and monitoring academic plans for students; assist with development and evaluation of study strategies/individualized learning strategies; remain current and ensure compliance with all applicable University, Big 12 Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations, as well as, FERPA and ADA requirements.
- Assist with scheduling of and communication with tutors and academic mentors through Student Success Collaborative (SSC); other projects as assigned by the full-time staff as it relates to the SAS tutorial program including but not limited to tutor training, payroll, training and educationServe as a secondary contact for men’s basketball as well as duties with football, women’s basketball and other wildcat sports teams.

UNDERGRADUATE TRADEMARK LICENSING ASSISTANT
Position Description:Â K-State Athletics is seeking a responsible, dependable, and professional student looking for a career in a diverse environment to fill our Undergraduate Trademark Licensing Student Assistant position. This position assists in upholding and communicating the K-State brand internally as well as externally.
Duties:
- Assume responsibility assisting with upholding the brand internally, as well as externally.
- Maintain trademark licensing website.
- Work with all entities across the university, as well as Foundation, Athletics, Alumni, academic and nonacademic units.

The Ticket Services Post Graduate Intern position is a local agency, hourly, unclassified position that will assist the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations in ensuring consistent daily operations of the KSA Ticket Office. This is a temporary benefit eligible full-time position for up to 24 months.

CLASS CHECKERS (MULTIPLE POSITIONS)
Position Description:Â The K-State Athletics Evans Student-Athlete Success Program is seeking class checkers to help maintain accurate class attendance records. Work schedule varies and is based on availability. Class checking is a role that can easily be spaced between class periods and is great for a busy student to earn some extra cash!
Location and Hours
- Class checking duties take place at various buildings on the Manhattan K-State campus.
- Operational hours are as follows (Morning availability highly desired):
- 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday
- 8am - 3pm on Fridays
Duties
- Class checkers are to stand in visible areas at the main entrances of assigned classroom buildings so that student-athletes can easily locate them.
- Maintain accurate records of class attendance to assigned classrooms.
- Communicate issues to Point-of-Contact for Class Checking in a timely fashion.

AHEARN FUND ATHLETIC HOSPITALITY AMBASSADOR
Position Description:
Ahearn Fund Athletic Hospitality Ambassador. Must be able to work all 7 home football games. Some evenings and weekends are required. Interest in hospitality/intercollegiate athletics/entertainment preferred.Â
Duties:
- Assist in the gameday operations of premium seating areas for football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and soccer. Positions include:
- Football: West Stadium Center Suite Level Attendant, Club Level Attendant, and Loge Level Attendant. East Side Suite Level Attendant and Club Level Attendant. Shamrock Zone Suite Level Attendant, Club Level, and Loge Level. Wasbash Landing, Touchdown Terrace, and Shuttle Driver
- Basketball: Courtside, Loge Level, Shamrock Zone.Â

Position Description:
Services Student Assistant. Interest in intercollegiate athletics/entertainment preferred. Must be able to work 12 hours or more per week. Weekday office hours vary depending on class schedule. Some evenings and weekends are required. Combination of office and event hours is mandatory. Successful candidates will start training as soon as possible.

Assist with all ticket office functions, including, but not limited to: processing ticket orders, managing customer service matters within departmental and/or NCAA rules, telephone and window sales, office management, cash handling and balancing of revenues, some supervising of ticket services on select game days/nights for various athletic events, and projecting a positive image.
Requirements:
Good problem solving, communication and computer skills are essential. Also must be reliable, well organized and adaptable while having friendly and outgoing people skills. Must maintain a professional manner and attitude, have strong multitasking and creative thinking skills and is able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. All student workers must be prepared to work six football games during the fall semester and a majority of all men’s/women’s basketball games, volleyball games, and baseball games.
