Wildcats race in the last regular season meet in Illinois
The K-State men's and women's cross country teams hit the course again on Friday (Oct. 18) for the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, Ill., at Newman Golf Course.
Both teams will race in the Red Invite in the afternoon, the men's 8k beginning at 3 p.m. CT, the women's 6k at 3:45 p.m. All races will be streamed on ESPN+.
In the last race of the regular season, the Wildcats continue to see familiar faces, including fellow Big 12 schools Cincinnati and UCF, as well as Drake, Illinois State, Iowa, Missouri, Tulsa and others.
K-State last ran in the Bradley Pink in 2018 when the men's team finished in 19th place and the women's team placed 21st. The Wildcats will be back at Newman Golf Course again next month when the Braves host the NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 15.
On Sept. 27 at the Gans Creek Invitational, the women's team finished 21st with 588 points, the men's team in 28th place with 724 points.
