MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State (3-0-0) soccer continues its four-match road trip during week three of the 2025 season, as the Wildcats visit the state of Massachusetts for the first time in program history to face UMass Lowell (1-2-0) on Thursday at 6 p.m. (CT), and Harvard (0-1-0) on Monday at 10:30 a.m. (CT).

• With a win on Thursday, K-State would set the school record for longest winning streak and tie the school record for consective road wins. 
• Both matches can be seen live on ESPN+, as John Avino (play-by-play) and Thomas Zinzarella (analyst) will have the call at UMass Lowell while Tyler Davey (play-by-play) and Eric Gallanty (analyst) will call the match at Harvard.

Last Time Out
• The Wildcats tied the school record for consecutive wins by earning a 2-0 victory at South Dakota on August 21 to boost its current win streak to three.
• On Thursday at South Dakota to begin the road portion of its schedule, K-State notched goals in the 36th and 50th minutes. Sophomore Hannah Palmer registered her second straight match with a game-winning goal, as she carded a bar down goal in the 36th minute from 17 yards.
• Sophomore Allison Marshall tallied her first goal of the season from 15 yards, as junior McKinnan Braswell played a ball over the top of the South Dakota defense for Marshall to run on to and finish with a chip of the keeper.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Sibbing registered her third straight shutout win in her first season with the Wildcats, as she made a season-high three saves. She is the second K-State goalkeeper and first since 2018 (Emma Malsy) to register three shutout wins in her first three matches as a Wildcat.
• K-State is one of four teams in the nation and one of two teams in the Big 12 (Arizona) to not allow a goal through the first two weeks of the season (min. 3+ matches played).
• This is the sixth time K-State has ended the month of August with a winning record.

At a Glance: UMass Lowell
• UMass Lowell (1-2-0, 0-0-0 America East) continues a six-match homestand this week, as the River Hawks host K-State (Thursday) and UMass (Sunday) at Cushing Field Complex.
• The River Hawks, picked to finish fourth in the America East, dropped its home-opener to Idaho, 4-0, on Aug. 21. 
• UMass Lowell is led on the sideline by seventh-year head coach Mira Novak. During her time in Lowell, Novak has steered the program to a 43-53-25 record.
• Offensively, UMass Lowell has been led by senior midfielder Maddie Guthrie with three assists, while five different players have recorded a goal.

At a Glance: Harvard
• Harvard (0-1-0, 0-0-0 Ivy League) will visit Fairfield on Friday before hosting K-State on Monday morning. 
• The Crimson, picked to finish third in the Ivy League, opened its 2025 season on Aug. 24 with a 2-1 loss at UMass.
• Harvard is led on the sideline by 11th-year head coach Chris Hamblin. During his time in Boston, Hamblin has guided the squad to an 88-40-20 record.
• Offensively, Harvard received its lone goal at UMass from senior forward Audrey Francois on a penalty kick in the 39th minute. This was the eighth goal of her career.

Road Mostly Traveled
• Since the start of the program in 2016, K-State has played 80 matches away from Manhattan.
• Overall, the Wildcats are 16-52-13 in road matches in their history.
• K-State has tallied a program best three road wins in three different seasons (2017, 2021 and 2022).

Cats Score A Litter of Goals
• K-State has gotten off to a hot start in goal scoring during the first two weeks of the season.
• The Wildcats own six goals in its first three matches. The six goals are the fourth time in program history and first since 2023 that K-State has scored six or more goals in its first three matches of a season.
• As a program, the Wildcats have seen 47 players register at least one career goal and the overall goal total stands at 144. The newest goal scorers for K-State are: Rilyn Rintoul (vs. Oral Roberts, 8/14/25), Alix Regier (vs. Oral Roberts, 8/14/25) and Mabry Williams (vs. Portland State, 8/17/25).
• In its history, K-State reached the 100-goals scored milestone in its seventh season of action as the triple-digit tally was scored at Weber State in a 1-0 win on September 1, 2022, and was scored by Marisa Weichel.
• In 2024, the Wildcats scored 17 goals, which was 0.94 goals per game. The 17 goals were third-most in a season in program history. K-State set the single-season record for goals with 20 in the 2021 season.
• The 17 goals were scored by 12 different players which was a school record for players with at least one goal in a season.
• K-State tied the school record for goals in a match and set the school record for goals scored at Buser Family Park with six goals against Green Bay on Aug. 29.

Game-Winning Goals for All
• Through 160 matches in program history, K-State has registered 41 victories. In those 41 wins, K-State has had 26 different players register a game-winning goal.
• Sophomore Hannah Palmer tallied the winner against Portland State on Aug. 17 and at South Dakota on Aug. 21. She is the second player in program history to register a game-winning goal in consecutive matches.
• Junior forward Rilyn Rintoul recorded her first career goal and the winner against Oral Roberts on Aug. 14.
• Last season, Allison Marshall added her name to the game-winner ledger earlier this season. Marshall was credited with the game-winning goal against both Green Bay on Aug. 29 and South Dakota on Sept. 1. She was the first player in program history to register a game-winning goal in consecutive matches.
• Marshall and Palmer one of five Wildcats in program history to record two or more game-winning goals in a season. 
• On the current roster, four Wildcats own at least one game-winning goal: Marshall (2), Andra Mohler, Palmer (2) and Rintoul.
• The first game-winning goal in program history was scored by Abby Sieperda in the Wildcats' 6-0 win at Oakland on August 26, 2016.

Early Cat Gets the Goal
• K-State recorded one of the earliest goals in program history during its match against Utah on Oct. 10, 2024.
• Sophie Simmons scored the fifth-earliest goal in program history, as she tallied a goal at 4:28 of the first half against Utah on October 10. It was the earliest goal by a Wildcat since Shae Turner scored at 2:10 of the first half against Oklahoma on October 16, 2020. Simmons's goal was the first goal this season by the Wildcats in the first 15 minutes. 
• During the 2024 season, K-State scored eight of its 17 goals in the first half.

Better Late than Never for K-State
• During its 10 seasons of action, K-State has scored 83 of its 144 total goals in the second half or later of matches (57.6 percent).
• This season, K-State has scored five goals in the second half. The latest goal of the 2025 season for the Wildcats came from Mabry Williams at 81:51.
• The Wildcats have scored 13 goals in the 85th minute or later in the history of the program. Of those 13 goals, four were game-winning goals (Brookelynn Entz, Colorado State, Sept. 17, 2017 [ot]; Adah Anderson, vs. North Alabama, Aug. 29, 2021; Caylee Thornhill, at Kansas, Sept. 30, 2021 [ot]; Riley Baker, at Baylor, Oct. 9, 2022) and two were game-tying goals (Aliyah El-Naggar, at Missouri, March 28, 2021; Laramie Hall, at Creighton, Sept. 2, 2016).

Happy Helpers
• The Wildcats helped each other out in the opening weekend, registering three assists on the four goals.  
• Sophomore Hannah Palmer paced the Wildcats with two assists, while Mabry Williams was credited with the other. The lone unassisted goal from K-State came on a direct free kick by Williams against Portland State.
• K-State was in a giving mood last season, as the Wildcats  handed out 18 assists on 17 goals which was 1.00 assists per game.
• The 18 assists were third-most in a season in program history. Of the 18 assists, 11 different players tallied at least one which was the second-most in program history behind the record of 12 in 2021.

K-State Posts Blank Score Sheets
• K-State has registered three straight shutout wins to begin a season for the first time since 2018.
• The Wildcats have blanked Oral Roberts, Portland State and South Dakota to open the 2025 season. This is a stretch of 270:00 consecutive minutes of shutout soccer, which ranks as the seventh-longest duration of shutout minutes in program history. The school record for total minutes of shutout soccer came in 2023, with a duration of 416:44 of game action.
• In its 10 seasons of action, the Wildcats have registered 46 shutouts. Kansas State owns an all-time record of 33-0-13 in games allowing zero goals.

Shot Prevention is Goal Prevention
• K-State has prevented opponent shots on goal in the first two weeks of the season. 
• This season, the Wildcats have limited opponents to 2.3 shots on goal and a .389 shots on goal percentage while not surrendering a goal.
• Against Portland State on Aug. 17, the Wildcats limited the Vikings to one shot on goal on just three total attempts. The three total shots allowed were the fewest by a K-State foe since Aug. 17, 2023 at Green Bay.
• The lowest shots on goal percentage allowed by K-State is .360 in the 2023 season.
• K-State allowed the fewest shots on goal per game in 2022 of 5.5 per match.

Sibbing in Frame
• Maddie Sibbing has put her stamp on the early stages of the 2025 season.
• The Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week following the first week of the season, Sibbing has not surrendered a goal in the first three matches of her time with K-State.
• She is tied for fifth in program history for wins in a season (3), tied for seventh in program history for shutouts in a season (3) and tied for third in program history for shutouts in a sophomore season.
• Sibbing is the second Wildcat keeper to registered three straight shutout wins to begin a K-State career (Emma Malsy, 2018). She is one of two goalkeepers in the Big 12 to not allow a goal this season. 
• In her collegiate career, Sibbing owns a career record of 6-6-1 with four shutouts.

Game in the Palm(er) of Her Hand
• Hannah Palmer has paced the Wildcats offense in the first two weeks of the season, as she has tallied two goals, with both goals counting as game-winners, and two assists.
• With her stat line this season, Palmer has established career season-highs for goals, assists and points. She owns the school record for game-winning goals in a sophomore season, is tied for fourth in program history for goals in a sophomore season, tied for third for points in a sophomore season and tied for sixth in program history for assists in a sophomore season.
• Against Oral Roberts in the season-opener on Aug. 14, Palmer assisted on both of K-State's goals to record her first two collegiate assists. She was the first Wildcat to carded two or more assists in a game since Sept. 1, 2024.
• Against Portland State on Aug. 17, the forward from Bucyrus, Kansas, registered her first goal of the season and her first collegiate game-winning goal.
• At South Dakota on Aug. 21, Palmer registered her second straight game-winning goal with a 17-yard bar down strike.
• Palmer is the fifth Wildcat in program history to record two or more game-winning goals in a season and joins Allison Marshall as the only players on the current roster with two or more career game-winning goals.
• In her career, Palmer owns three goals, two assists and eight points.

Marshall Plan
• Allison Marshall added her name to the 2025 scoring ledger in the second week of the season.
• The sophomore forward from Omaha, Nebraska, tallied her first goal of the season at South Dakota with a shot from 15 yards.
• In her career, Marshall owns three goals and two assists for eight points. She owns a career shots on goal percentage of .571 (8-of-14).
• In her debut season in 2024, Marshall tied for second on the team in goals (2), assists (2) and points (6). She had nine shots with five on goal. Her two game-winning goals tied the school record for game-winning goals in a freshman season. Her two goals tied for fourth in school history for goals in a freshman season, while her six points were fifth in a freshman campaign.
• Marshall was the fourth Wildcat in program history to record two or more game-winning goals in a season and the second freshman (Hannah Davis, 2017).
