CAREER OVERVIEW

Opted to enter the transfer portal in April 2023.
Redshirt in his lone season (2022-23) at K-State.
Transferred to K-State with 3 seasons of eligibility remaining after 1 season at Tallahassee Community College (2021-22) in Tallahassee, Fla., and 1 season at UT-Martin (2020-21) in Martin, Tenn.
Helped Tallahassee to a 21-10 record, including a 6-6 mark in one of the nation’s top junior college leagues – the Panhandle Conference – and an at-large berth to the NJCAA Regional 8 Tournament… Among the 21 wins was a 71-67 victory on Feb. 12, 2022, over the eventual NJCAA National Champion – Northwest Florida State.
One of seven Division I signees from Tallahassee.
Ranked second on the Eagles in scoring (11.0 ppg.), while he was third in field goals (96), 3-point field goals (27) and rebounding (4.6 rpg.)… Scored in double figures in 15 games, including 3 20-point games while posting a career-high 25 points twice.
Began his college career in 2020-21 at UT-Martin, where he saw action in 22 of 24 games with 4 starts as a true freshman during an unprecedented season for the Skyhawks… In addition to navigating the pandemic conditions, Thomas and his teammates tragically lost their head coach Anthony Stewart right before the season on Nov. 15, 2020.
Emerged as one of the top freshmen at UT-Martin, ranking second in 3-point field goals (23) and fourth in scoring (9.0 ppg.)… Became the first Skyhawk true freshman to start a season opener since 2013-14, playing 25 minutes vs. Evansville on Dec. 2, 2020.

Saw action in 22 of 24 games with 4 starts as a true freshman at Tennessee-Martin during the abbreviated 2020-21 season… The Skyhawks posted an 8-16 overall record, including a 6-14 mark in Ohio Valley Conference play.
The team tragically lost their head coach Anthony Stewart right before the season started on Nov. 15, 2020 and were led by an interim coach for entire season.
Became the first Skyhawk true freshman to start a season opener since 2013-14, playing 25 minutes against Evansville (12/2/20).
Averaged 9.0 points on 37.7 percent (75-of-199) shooting, including 30.7 percent (23-of-75) from 3-point range, to go with 2.8 rebounds in 24.0 minutes per game… Connected on 75.8 percent (25-of-33) from the free throw line.

Saw action in 18 of 20 Ohio Valley Conference games, including 3 starts… Averaged 9.0 points on 37.9 percent (61-of-161) shooting, including 28.1 percent (16-of-57) from 3-point range, with 2.9 rebounds in 23.7 minutes per game… Connected on 80 percent (24-of-30) from the line.
Scored in double figures 6 times in OVC play, including the 2 20-point outings.

Earned NJHoops.com All-State honors for the Independent/Prep class in 2020 in playing 40 games his senior season at Olympus Prep Academy.
